1 Week Down. 1 to Go!

Jim has been gone for a week. He's in Jakarta on a business trip. We get to talk to him everyday and I tell him about all the poopy diapers, temper tantrums, and constant bickering between Jacob and Rainey that he's missing. It makes him a little less homesick. The other day, I recieved 2 dozen roses in the mail from him. I wonder if he feels guilty for being gone???

New Year's Day-Half Marathon

The kids were way too busy playing on the playground to watch me cross the finishline at my half marathon. Oh well.

Christmas Eve

I don't know.

We See You!

Rainey and Kirsten played very well together over the Christmas holiday. Jim captured this great picture of the two being a little naughty and playing where they were not supposed to be playing. They get off for being cute.

Larky and Me

Larkin will always be my sweet little baby. She's 2, but still bald and that helps me hold on to her baby years. These past few weeks she has started to cuddle more. Love it!

The Nativity

Cousins

We were excited to have my sister and her family here for Christmas. Here are some pictures of the kids.

Any Advice??

So here is our sweet and darling little Rainey Jewel. We're open to suggestions.

Adventures in Chocolate Milk

Larkin found Rainey's left over chocolate milk on the table and thought that instead of drinking it, it would be funner to dump it out and plaint with it.

1 Down 2 to go!

Happy New Year! Today I ran the Texas 1/2 Marathon. My time was better than last year's (I did the full marathon last year.....I just needed to let you all know that) which was my goal. Dad came and rode his bike along side me at the end, like last year. He came around mile 10 or so. It was nice to unload my fuel belt. A few of my 'CTRs' were also running. 3 of us did the half while another ran her first full marathon..Go 'Hillbilly'!! So let me explain that ginormous medal. This was the 10 year anniversary of the Texas Marathon and, since everything's bigger in Texas, they made the medals HUGE! It's really heavy too. Everyone cheered very loudly when they revealed it. My next half marathon is on Valentine's Day.
