Jim's new hobby is photography. We're going back on Saturday to take family picturs. You take the beltway over to 290. Stay on 290 until you see the blue bonnets right as you hit Brenham. It's just over an hour away. A family picture in the Blue Bonnets is a MUST for any Texas family.
Just be careful of the fire ants!! Last year when we did it I stepped in fire ants (yes, another fire ant story). I didn't care because I finally got the kids looking at me. (anything for a picture) I drove home in pain the ehole way with the AC on full blast on my feet. (closest thing to an ice cube).
